Hey guys.

I have a bunch and great footage unfortunatley shot in quite high winds where some shots got the 'wind shake' treatment on the long lens.

Anyone got any tricks or thoughts on how to lessen this in post ???

I use Premiere/After effects so i thought I'd post this question here...

I use 2D3 SteadyMove. It works pretty well.

Mat,

2D3 SteadyMove does a pretty good job if the movement is very small. If it is bigger I would use the tracking function in AE to track the movement and steady it. If the movement is great you will end up having to scale up the footage once the tracking is done.

Guys.

Thanks for this heads up....I will check out 2d3...is this a plug in for after effects ??

Kevin. When you say track and steady...could you explain a little more fella? I'll be able to get on after effects in the morning and go through help but any help in advance would be great.

I'm assuming its going to track the movement and then move a 'virtual' camera to bring it things straight again!? eerrr or something like that !

2d3 works in PPro2 - the freeware version is included in the "3rd party software" folder of the Pro2 installation disk. (It may also be downloadable.)
