hi, i'm using the HVX200 and Boujou to track a motion, Boujou needs to know the lens radial distortion wich i've found to be 0.27 and also it ask me about the height and width of the sensor, does anyone knows what are those dimensions in mm? i'm asknig that because i don't know if the actual dimensions are the ones that Boujou needs or maybe the dimension the sensor should be (because the pixelshift, and the upzised resolution that goes in camera)

the standard sensor size that Boujou gives you is 14.7574x8.3007 is that right?

the radial distortion i've found to be 0.27

the camera shoots at 4:3 but i'm using raylight codec so the image ends up in it's correct aspect ratio 16:9 because of the ever changing format that the image suffer, i don't know which is the right information for Boujou

anyone can help?

The HVX has a 16:9 sensor, not 4:3. And while nobody (AFAIK) knows the actual image sensor size, my guess is it's about 5.25mm x 2.95 mm.

thanks pal I'll try with that size

also

is there any tool to compensate the color aberration of the lense? some pluguin or some kind of digital compensator... i don't know...

There is no way it's that small. 3mm? No way.

The normal size for a 1/3" sensor, in 4x3 terms, is 4.8 x 3.6 mm. Why would you think 5.25 x 2.95 is too small?
