I was wondering how one can see the attributes of a clip in Premiere or with a seperate program? Like what percentage blur, gamma or grain the clip contains. Let say I have a clip from a movie that I want to simulate to get the same look. How do I go about doing it? Thanks.

As far as I know, the only way to do this, is to eyeball it, and try away. I can't think of any programs that can tell what filters have been applied to a clip.

If you have an NLE with a lightwave and vectorscope for color correction, you can see where the luminance values are, color levels, and gamma levels. However, there are other things to take into consideration when trying to recreate a scene's look. How the scene was lit, actual colors, lens filters, will make a difference when post work is done.

Close enough would suffice.

You can't get such properties because a movie doesn't have
that information. It simply knows about video and audio channels
(basically). That is it. Now a project file can tell you more most
of the time!
