Hi,wonder if this has happened to you? after shooting an on cam interview for a client in the U.S. I tried to playback my footage on the camera to see how it goes.
but to my surprise I could only hear the voice of the interviewee and the
interviewer over the speaker phone who is on the other side of the world
but no picture even on the sd monitor i'm using to check for color.
i tried to access the thumbnail, also no thumbnail came out.
unfortunately i did not bring my lap top last night to see the proxy files and had to ship the disc immediately for tuesday's airtime next week on HD Channel.
when I get home I played back my previous recorded disc the same thing happened only audio came out and no video from camera playback.
but when i accessed xdcam file transfer I can see the proxy file.
please help! thanks a lot.

Maybe you're trying to play NTSC material on camera/player that's switched to PAL?

nope sir, no i shot the interview on NTSC.
as i have mentiond I played beck other previously recorded disc on the camera but just the same no video.
