One question about 25F mode on Canon XLH1:
1.) I recorded my Footage in 25F
2.) I captured my footage with HDVSplit 0.77 gives me an ".m2t" file
3.) I Imported it into my Avid in a HD 1080 25p project
4.) Transcoding all the HDV stuff into DNxHD 185
Is this work flow ok? I am asking because Avid always sees this .m2t file from HDVSplit as an interlaced file, even if i recorded in 25F? If i try to put it on the timeline in Avid it tells me the source material is interlaced...
Anybody got any experience if what i do is all right or if i mess things up down the line somewhere? I guess my question is:
What is the best workflow dealing with 25F HDV material to get it in some intermediate format for editing in Avid or Vegas?
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!
