I am awaiting delivery of my new (well second hand) HD100U. As I am living in Europe, I was wondering if there is anyway in which the 100U can be converted into a 100E so as to enable it ouput and record 576i Standard Definition DV by, for example, reflashing the firmware to the European version?

This isn't a major issue for me as I intend to primarily shoot in 720 25P, but it would be nice to have the option.
