Is there a way to lock the Zoom, Focus and aperature with the A1. For example if I was using the Brevis35 and I didn't want any or my cam settings to be changed because I will be focusing and changing aperature settings with the adapted lens. If anyone has any info on this I would really appreciate. Thanks a bunch.

Zoom - Don't touch the rocker.
Focus - Set to manual and don't touch the ring.
Aperture - Use Manual controls and don't touch the iris ring.

Master of the obvious....I like it. No really thanks. I was just wondering if there was any in cam settings I was missing that even if I touched the rockers for zoom aperature and focus etc.. that it would not respond.

Just turn the camera off. That will do what you describe.

But seriously... I don't think there's any way to do that.

Gaff tape. . . Seriously. I do it all the time.
Also the A1 has a switch where you can set your zoom and focus by the push of a button. Once you have your focus set, push the switch record your zoom and focus settings. Get into the habbit to push the "set" zoom and focus settings before each shot.
