I am embedding quicktime movs into my site and i noticed that it will only show the logo until the movie fully loads, then it will display the controller and a black screen. Is ther anyway to keep the controller visible so that there is just a black screen, but you can see it loading in the timeline thingy?
Sorta like this one.

You have to add 16 pixles to the size of the window to accomidate the controller.
For instance if a movie is 480 X 360 to accomidate the movie with contorller make the movie window size on the web page 480 x 376. I hope this helps.

On some sites with quicktime embeded into it, they actually show the player as it is loading, you can see the bar loading at the bottom, If you click play too soon, then it won't play all the way through because it is still loading...I am trying to do this because some files are REALLY big, like 40mb and I just want the viewer not to get bored, so that he wont think that the player is broken
