I am still waiting to get the FCP update( I am using 4.5). Is it safe to say if I put the camera in device mode and copy the entire p2 contents over to a folder I will be able to ingest it in fcp when I get the update? I tried the hd log demo and it only lets you convert 1 clip so @ least I can look @ the first one. Is there anything else I can do( free convert) untill I get the update to fcp?

The P2 Import function will allow you to do everything you need. HD Log or P2 Log Pro has proven to be more stable and faster than FCP in doing to conversions to QT's but if you don't want to spend any more money then stick with the import function in FCP.
