I haven't used FCP in about a month. Went to start a new project and I can't get FCP to open??? I click on the icon, it starts to open and then it just quits. I've restarted the computer a few times but that doesn't seem to work. Other programs open with no problem just not FCP. In all the years I've used FCP never had this problem. Can anyone help.

Try trashing your FCP preference files and doing some other maintenance. Try these articles.
