Hi folks,
I have 21.7 gbs of AVI footage that I need to share with a friend. This is stock footage. What's the best way for me to get this on a DVD without having to burn to 6 dvds? Is there a way I can compress it down but with minimal quality loss and decrease the number of DVDs I need to burn to?

Thanks for any tips!

Why not put it on an external disk and loan him the disk, so he can copy it?

There is no such magic - you either compress and loose quality, or keep the quality at the expense of file size. 21 GB of avi is about an hour and half of footage, you can put all of that on one DVD, in "regular" DVD format (mpeg2) but if your friend needs to edit this footage, then you have to give it to him uncompressed.
