Trust me, you can make due with what you have. ;-)

I have been doing it the last two times.

All I have is a (very nice) $300 camera, and a tripod. Then for editing I delete stuff off my hard-drive and use Imovie or download a trial for another editing program.
I think it works out just fine... Others may disagree, but its working for me!
