I'm looking into buying a set of portable studio monitors that I can transport to various clients facilities. I'm tried of working with small computer speakers and I don't like the fatigue that I get from wearing headphones for an extended period of time. Right now, I am looking at either a set of JBL Lsr25p, or a set of Genelec 8020a, as these speakers are both highly rated, but are small enough for my needs. Which set of speakers would you recomend for audio and video editing?

I've been awfully darn happy with a set of Genelec 1029a, predecessor to the 8020, have occasionally taken them to client facilities.

At the home office I use them with a sub, which is needed for reference speaker full-range music playback. In other words, I wouldn't mix music for later playback on full-range speakers without the sub.

I've seen feature film dialog cut on 1029s without the sub. Perhaps the 8020 improves on the low-bass performance.

Sorry, no experience with the JBL, but they look to be following in Genelec's footsteps.

I do think this class of monitor would make a fine transportable system for small room playback.

Actually, the 1029 is the predecessor to the 8030, both with 5" bass drivers. The 8020 has a 4" driver. Please take my comments above as general info about Genelec small monitors.
