View Full Version : Small rubber eyecup for the VX2100?

Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I find it a bit annoying that the large eyecup together with the need to be right on axis to see the viewfinder without distortion, makes this more difficult than it needs to be. I actually find that by folding the large eyecup back, I am more plane to the viewfinder and have less distortion.

So it would seem that a smaller eyecup (like the one on the VX2000) might work better.

There's a small eyecup hiding within that big elephant-ear the VX2100 has.
All it takes to reveal it, is a pair of scissors.

And a lot of courage to perform that surgery! Did you do it Steve?

Good sense often trumps courage in haste. So I'm waiting for you to carry it out and provide a report on the results. Hint: don't take too much on the first pass with the scissors.
