Has anyone tried this. I was wondering if the quality is as cheap as the price.

$200 looks pretty expensive to me for a wire tube with rubber bands in it...I made mine for < $10 and 20 minutes of work:

At that price, I can affford to bang it around a bit and replace it easily...
Gutter screen, stainless steel wire, metal free black fabric hair binders, costume fur, an old microphone holder to disassemble and 4 chop sticks!

Larry,
I have one and it works great. Not quite up to the Sennheiser one in quality, but not too bad either. All fitted togther well and works every bit as good as the Senn. I use it on my Senn 416 and it is worth every rupee of how much I paid. From what I can see it is an identical clone of the Senn blimp - just a third of the price.
Go for it.
