Anyone know the length of the V1, I looked in the manual and the website, and the weight is listed, but not the length. I'm trying to figure out what pelican case would fit two of these cameras.

Steven,

in Centimetres.
Body only, from sunshade to back, 29 cm
if Micro is on, with Rycote on, plus 9 cm at the front
if big Eye piece is on, and straight, + 7 cm at the back
Total length, fully functional 45 cm

(2.54 centimetre to 1 inch)

Steven,

Is there a difference between inch in US and in England?

With miles there is such a thing (haha)

Many years ago, I was driving in England, with my “left hand driven” car. To fast. Then a police man stopped me, and told me, “Only 50 Miles are allowed”

I told him I wasn’t to fast, because 90 km/h are 50 miles (I was thinking of “nautical” miles (1.8 km=1 n-mls). He then told me, a road-mile is only 1.6 km
Then I asked him, *Do you have two kinds of Miles in England, wet and dry?*
He started to smile and let me go
