My guillemots have come back to their ledges. Here's some footage that I got with a Sigma 70-300 APO lens.

It's hard to believe that they manage to sit there on the rocks. Nice footage Grant. It looks like your Sigma is function well, bright and sharp footage. Was you in the 300mm end in this footage?

Not only do they sit there, they also lay their eggs and feed their chicks on those rocky ledges. When the chicks are around 17-18 days old (before they are able to fly) they throw themselves of the cliffs and into the sea below.

The footage was taken with the lens at 150mm. This footage of a piar of Lesser Black-back Gulls was taken at 300mm.
