I'm getting the HV 20 and I use FCP. Can anyone advise on what deck I can use to capture 24P and HD footage into FCP? Or do I have to use the camera as deck?
Thanks in advance.

Guy Bruner April 8th, 2007, 05:45 PM Use the camcorder as a deck. It outputs Firewire. Chris Barcellos April 8th, 2007, 09:33 PM Second that, and remember, the camera is probably cheaper than any deck. Mike Teutsch April 9th, 2007, 06:19 AM I don't think that there is a deck to use. That's why the owners of the other Canon HDV cameras are buying the HV10 and HV20's to use as decks. I use the HV20 as it is top loading. In other words, you have the least expensive deck you can get. Mike Roger Garcia April 9th, 2007, 09:02 AM Thanks to all for your advice - maybe I'll get the HV10 as a deck and use the HV20 for shooting then. |
