Have any fellow Canadians seen the new atrocity against TV that Muchmusic is using now? I don't know how often they do it since I only caught 5 minutes of it yesterday (but it was enough for me), but it can only be described as 'strobe-light editing'.
It was between music videos, and one of the VJs was talking about the latest Nelly video or something. Suddenly, they started splicing 7 or 8 frames of the MuchMusic logo really quickly in with the guy talking, then another really quick flash of various parts of the video followed by the Much logo again.
It's very, very annoying and I can't believe they've sunk this low. It's the kind of thing that has a place in montages like credits or something, but to do it when there's no good reason to just to keep people watching is sick. Their audience must have a split-second attention span.
