Hi all,
I want to share with all of you, my results using Remote Audio's "Micro-Cat Lavaliere Windscreen" this past weekend. (B&H, pn:HAMCATB, $25.00)
There was a slight intermittant breeze blowing all day. When I checked the mic right before placing it on the groom, I heard wind noises. So, I installed my new windscreen and I heard a distinct improvement. When we got to the vows, I heard NO wind noise whatsoever. Now, just to be fair, the breeze we had Saturday wasn't much, but it was enough to have killed the vows if I didn't have that windscreen installed. From now on I'll be using it on all my outdoor weddings.
One day I'll see how it handles a bigger breeze...
