Does anyone know that a cable which can be used for Decklink HD Extreme 9pin to control GY-HD250 via remote jack?

Thanks in advance.

FW isn't rs422 so a you can't get there from here with a simple cable. horita *might* have a FW to 422 converter box, but expect its a couple hundred bucks. there may be other converters out there too, but its two totally different transport languages and interfaces. generally speaking such a box is a FW port and a 422 port with a simple CPU in the middle to handle translation and timing

Steve,

I was wondering if the "remote" on HD250 works with 9 pin control or not. I was trying to use the HDSDI to capture and use firewire to do the device control with Decklink HD Extreme but FCP don't let me, so I was wondering if the "remote" on the HD250 converts to 9 pin control with a cable. I'm aware of Firewire to 9 pin conversion, thanks anyways.

The 6 pin "remote" ports on the HD200 and HD250 are for CCU control (camera "paint" functions, like iris, detail, set-up, gain, ect.) This remote port has nothing to do with tape transport control. Tape control is only via firewire.
