Hello!
I am so grateful for all of the posts listing such valueable information for so many custom presets. One preset that I would love to build but have no idea how is a nice sepia preset. Has anyone tried this and been successful?
Thank you for your time.

sepia is better off added in post.
if you must try it..take the color saturation all the way down, turn up the bright and contrast, and add a hint of which ever color you want the cast to be. usually red with a hint of green.
you should be more concerned about the diabolical man with a mustache
and cape that will soon follow. do you live by railroad tracks?

The good old PD-150/170 had an effect called "old movie" with the slower shutter speed and the sepia look, and i tended to use it a decent amount as a b-camera for things like cake cuttings or garter toss. I was just curious about replicating it.

ahh, for weddings. sure, i can see that.
i still think its best to leave such effects off the source tape because a client can come back and say "i love that shot!.... but can you do something about that effect?"
magic bullet has some great old movie effects and the ones built into vegas work well too.
