Firstly, the opening shot, is it possible to deinterlace that shot, the gulls wings dont look nice and secondly, I most probably would have had a longer dissolve between the last 2 sunset shots. Just my thoughts on a nice video Bob Dale Guthormsen April 1st, 2007, 06:14 PM Chris, A lot of fine compositions, One clip seemed to beg for a little color correction but all in all very nicely done!!!! thankyou for sharing. Matt Buys April 5th, 2007, 04:55 AM Bob, you just made me realize how far I have to go as a filmmaker. What exactly was wrong with the gull wings? And what would deinterlacing do? I can see now I need to post some of my footage. Only I'm worried the server might crash from too many correction type comments. Marcus Marchesseault April 11th, 2007, 04:38 AM I downloaded VLC media player and it does a better job with interlaced footage once "blend" de-interlace is selected. I normally use Media Player Classic which is also a great free media player. Both are superior to the windows player. Per Johan Naesje April 11th, 2007, 03:03 PM Chris, I finally managed to download the footage; very nice, I'll second what have been said by the others. By the way: did you use any protection for the camcorder when filming near the sea? |
