Hey all,

Doing presearch on the M2 adapter and the nikon lenses for an indie feature I'll be doing in time to come. Unfortunately I have the Canon Eos system, so I'm going to have to start investing in the Nikon system. Can someone please recommend me which Nikon lenses they have found to be best. Which ones did you prefer? Any links to the lenses I should purchase would be great too. Suggested lenses on ebay. Any help would be appreciated greatly!!!

Sincerely,

-bart

No offense, but why would you need to? If you already have the Canon lenses why waste more money when u dont need to?

How is it "unfortunate" ? Are you jsut goign with peoples/fanboy opinions or are you going with real world results?

Throw on a 50mm L f1.2...

i agree with Peter,

I also have eos lenses and only disadvantage is iris control. Thats it.

Currently what I have is the canon 24-70L and the 70-200L. I also own a Peleng Fisheye, a 50mm takumar, and a 85mm jupiter 9, all of which are full manual. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but what is the loss of iris control do compared to having it with the Nikon lenses? Does anyone have any "real world" applications/videos that they could link to? I'd obviously rather not have to spend money for more lenses if I don't have to, but the Nikons are even recommended by RedRock, whom I don't think have any stock invested in Nikon, but who knows? ;)
