I filmed this wedding over a year ago with 3 HDV Sonys. I just finished doing a demo, so here it is.
The black around the video is show what you would actually see if you were watching it on a 16:9 tv.

Excellent! What really struck me is your slow blends between shots. It really gave an elegant feel.

Don't you just love it when the priest puts a microphone in front of the bride's face? That unexpectedly happened to me once and the close-up was ruined.

Douglas, obviously for the clip you edited your footage on a computer. I was wondering wether you used live switching or multicam edit in post for the actual DVD of the whole event.
The reason I'm asking is that I went to your website and saw a picture of a live mixer and intercom gear used by camera people.

I have been doing this for 27 years so it is part of a wedding video.

When ever I can use I will. Unfortunately I don't have an HD switcher yet.
We do use intercom, it is the only way to direct cameramen on what to shoot. Otherwise you get all cameras doing the same close up shot. ;-)
Finally I use FCP multi-camera to edit. It is better than the life switching because of time & effects that you can do in post vs life. The thing about the switcher is that you can see exactly what you have in all cameras therefor you can direct better. For example you can call for a tight close up, but a tight close up for me may different for you. You could also set up a camera for a zoom in and have them in stand by until you need because you know that you have the shot you want on another camera.
