Im traveling to nepal this fall to continue to shot a documentary and I have a hard time finding a good tripod soft case for my Miller solo tripod (g1380 head). A golfbag or hardcase may be better for the trip, but because i cant carry that much I rather pick up a padded soft case. Can anyone recomend a good soft case? Dont want to spend more than 150$ if its possible.

I just returned from Spain on a shoot just using my soft case for my
Miller tripod. I had carefully wrapped it with foam (not bubble wrap) and the run straps around it and it worked fine for me.

CamRade makes some extremely durable tripod cases (1000 stitch cordura).
Their cases can be carried via shoulder strap or hand strap and, out of the back of the bag, you can unzip to bring out straps to wear the bag like a backpack. They have options to purchase the bag with or without roller wheels.
The TP-1 bag measures 34 1/2" length x 7" wide x 7 1/4" deep
The TP-2 bag measures 39" length x 8" wide x 9" deep
For more info on their products, visit www.camrade.com or, if in the US, contact TapeWorks Texas Inc.
