I recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL-26S2010 HD LCD TV and am using it as a computer monitor. It has an incredible picture and it works very well with my NLE (Edius Broadcast). It has a variety of inputs, and feeding component from an HVX-200 gives and amazing picture. Its not cheap (nearly $ 1000 from discount houses), but I strongly recommend it. As an aside, I tested a Samsung LN-S2651 D, which has a great picture with an HD feed but had a poor picture when fed as a monitor with a computer. I strongly suggest that anyone considering a purchase like this take a laptop to the TV store along with a cable so that you can check how well the unit works as a monitor.
