Hi all just through this thing together took about 30 minutes. used stuff from around the house and satinsnow gg that I forgot I ordered. Just thought it would be a good learning curve while I wait for my SGProR2 to turn up (can't wait)
Running on a V1E no macro lens just focus on the gg pretty poor but good fun

looks great, especially for a static one. I have just started building my first one and its a rotating one, can't wait to see how it turns out.

sorry Yeh I know the only thing to judge it by is footage, its not very good I clipped off the corners its not full frame the corners were dark and it showed up the hotspot. however I created a smaller size 16:9 area and shot that, missing out the dark corners that is what the stills are of. If I go full size it looks awfull. I am onyl playing until I get my SGProR2 hopefully this week.

OK folks You asked for it. I am afraid it is not very good, mind you I did just chuck it all together didn't even clean the GG that well.
Remeber there is no Fresnel, PCX or Macro lens. So I think the GG is doing OK.
Considering they cost me about $8 each.

Well I Got MY SgPro R2 today I have just thrown it (sorry) carefully constructed the system together (very easy by the way took about 3 minutes) and cant wait to get out and shoot some test footage. Here is a picture of it all together with a Canon 135mm F2 lens attached.

So I will be forgetting about my home made thingy and concentrating on my short.

Running on a Sony V1E, will post some 25p footage soon I hope. Waiting on the weather at the moment.
