so over the winter ive been putting more of my energy into photography... i havent even thought about adapters or video recently.. my xl2 and letu35xl have gone untouched for a few months.

so im looking around for accessories for my canon 30d and i came across this..

25fps with video out.. not sure what kind of quality this would have.. but a device like this one made with a good quality output could make a really small lightweight filmmaking setup out of a dslr.

I would suspect the preview video feed from any dslr is of very low quality, and not of any real use for videography. It would be hard to imagine any DSLR manufacturer wasting their time on including the necessary hardware to output a high quality compressed signal worth capturing for video. Besides, is it a proprietary connection, or something simple like composite (which I think it is). Even if the signal is of any appreciable quality it must come from a high quality source such as HDMI or DVI or component output, all of which I seriously doubt the DSLR has.
