I've been using the Sony DVM-60PR premium tapes with the blue label. Are the tapes with the orange label any different? Looking to buy in bulk. Thanks!!

Stu Holmes March 12th, 2007, 03:41 PM no different. just different colored packaging - made in a different part of the world. Jacob Ehrichs March 13th, 2007, 09:41 PM Orange is made for an overseas market. Andy Lunn April 18th, 2007, 01:25 PM wrong!! orange is taken from the outer tape reel where as the more expensive is from the center of the process reel. its exactly the same stock, there is a 000.1% increase in dropouts from the outer tape type.
