Is there really no such footage? I've been searching this forum and can't find any. On the paper it looks like a good camera but I'd like to compare with the xl h1

Do you mean HD footage that's been downcoverted to SD and you want to see it? Or are you looking for what the picture would look like coming from the HD-SDI output of the camera? If you mean the later, then you would need both an HD-250 and an XL-H1 side by side and hooked up to two monitors for a comparison. HD-SDI is just an output format for the video signal, not what you would see as an online sample.

Are you possibly looking for some sample material from the HD250 to look at online? I'm sure someone on the boards could help with that request.

Please clarify and then maybe someone can post a sample from a 250 if that's what you need.

yes I mean the HD-SDI. an online 4:2:2 sample would be just fine. seems to be hard to find

Phil Rhodes has been shooting uncompressed HD SDI material on the HD 250. He has some frame graps here:

I don't think you'll get uncompressed HD material online, the files would be too large.
