I was quite impressed of the HV-10's video image quality.
Have a look at this first short sample video. You need a fast computer to watch it. Stretched to 1920x1080, DIVX codec HV mode at 6000Kbit/s.
Only image processing I've done is Alparysoft Deinterlace which worked quite well I think.

Excellent video!

Nice bike work too. Man, that's some crazy stuff! Especially that playground part. That thing is pretty high.

Good show.

Please share more. :)

Nice video. Well composed shots. Great image quality! I might ask you more about your export/compression settings at some point.

And btw, if I were to attempt these stunts, I'd be shattering a few bones. Impressive...

Nice video! Was the frame rate rather low, or was that just my player acting up?

it's PAL 25fps which may not look totally fluent. Hard to see if there are framedrops on playback. Only sure thing is that sports mode I chose uses fast shutter. Auto mode will blur moving pars in the image a lot which I don't like for fast sport video. In sports mode each wheel spoke of the fast moving bike is sharp.

alparysoft deinterlace free filter with little trick to place the logo water mark outside the video frame ;)

this is my only HDV trials video. My latest movie shot with a sony hc90 in 25p progressive mode also looks pretty good i think:

Thanks Marko.

Nice footage. Makes me want to break out my Ole Skateboard and get some HDV shots of me skating. Only bad thing is, it's been a long time since I did.

Could get interesting to say the least. :)

I used to ride.. he was far better than I however, great vid!

Stable HDV shines! In terms of resolution; very high res.. surpassed HDV from the Z1U that I shot a ton of footage with. Honest truth. I think the Z1U had better latitude, but man, that HV10 image was sharp.

Also, I was impressed with the angle of view.. it was better than I expected. If you showed that footage to me, other than the overexposed sky at times, I wouldn't have known what HDV camera had shot it - could have been a more expensive camera hadn't I known!

Thanks for posting!
