please a quick question, can I use the BlackMagic or Aja cards with a XL H1 at 25p?

And can I output from the cards back to tape (in HD) into the XL H1?

Yes, the cards are compatible and no, the XLH1 can not take in the SDI info out of the card. The only way to get HDV back on tape is via Firewire.
