I haven't really gone out and purchased Expensive mic's just yet and have been able to get by doing indie films, but I came across this :

http://store.hytechgear.com/Items/801813091038?

This looks like a good deal, and since I am a customer of their, the price is even lower then advertised. Would this be something that could work for film or is it going to be to sensitive because it isn't really that directional?

Thanks

I wouldn't use those for filming.
The 603s is not a shotgun mic (not directional), it's more for instrument recording, and the 2003 isn't that great a sounding condenser for any voice over work (harsh upper frequencies I found).
Cheap, yes. Good, eh, not that good.
My $.02

ditto.

Buy an Audix SCX-1 for interiors and a Rode NTG 1 or 2 for exteriors.

Thanks,
What prices can I be expected to pay for the Rode NTG or the Audix SCX-1?
Is there an all-around mic I could get to do both to save since I am on a budget?

That's what google is for.
The answer to your second question is, no.

yeah, I did a search and thought I was seeing things with the Audix SCX-1 at around 600 euros, so I was hoping I was mistaken.

Well, I guess I am going to have to make do with something cheaper until I can get that kind of cash. Thanks Ty,
