Hi,

I'm a videojournalist - one man band - at a regional tv-station in Denmark. Right now we've got the DVX100's, but a change is just around the corner. Think we'll end up with the HVX.

When I'm interviewing I'd like to get some in the left side of the frame and some in the right. But if I want them in the left I cannot see my LCD, and then it's getting hard to tell if the talent keeps the position i want - or stays within the frame at all.

So I'm looking for a small external LCD (2-4"). Wireless or wired. I guess HDMI is the interface?

Any suggestions? Remember this is mostly for framing purposes, so good quality isn't that big a part of the purchase. A SD monitor is fine as long as it will connect with the HDMI interface in some way.

Thanks!

I don't know of any small monitors that have HDMI at the moment. I have used the Ikan 2.5 monitor before. It's 4x3 but for a quick check of colour & framing it was quite handy. It has a standard RCA composite input - I think the HVX downconverts. (http://www.ikancorp.com/pages/monitors/v2500/index.htm)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the HVX doesn't have a HDMI output. So I think Component is your best bet..

Vincent, no I think you're right. I just figured it had.

And Rohan, thanks for the link. That's very cheap!
