I'm trying to recapture some footage I shot back in June '06. The footage was shot on an FX1 in SD. When I originally captured the footage, it came in at 16-bit 48KHz. I know this for a fact because I still have an unused bit of one of captures, and it is 48KHz.

Now, when I'm recapturing the same tape, in a DV Widescreen 48KHz project, PPro captures the audio as 16-bit 32000 (yes, *16* bit 32000). I've tried rebooting, creating a new project to triple-check I created it correctly.

Other tapes from the same shoot shot on a GL2 do not exhibit this abnormality. It's only the tapes from the FX1, that were shot in SD. As I mentioned above, I have captured the tape before and it came in at 48KHz. Why would PPro now bring in the audio as 16-bit 32KHz instead of 16-bit 48KHz?

Both my camera and the VTR show the audio being 16-bit.

Thanks,
Matt
