Excellent footage. Two questions: 1. did you use a 35mm DOF adaptor? Did some nice jobs on using DOF. and 2. For the bluish and greenish tones, what did you use for color adjustments (both in terms of which software, and what technique-if you're comfortable sharing that)? I'm assuming you didn't do that in production.

Marlon, in Scene 04, what is the focal length of the lens you used for the wide shots at the opening?

Marlon:

Most excellent work. What program are you using for color grading? After Effects? What process among the color correction tools do you find most effective. THanks for sharing!

I just use Final Cut Pro for basic stuff, Color Finesse if I need to do something fancy. I like HSL and Curves.

These are some great scenes! An excellent job. I was immediately into what was on the screen and wanting to know what was going on...and forgot I even got them from a "forum"...

I just finishes watching "Junipero".... WOW!!!

You guys are super talented. I rented 3 Hollywood movies this weekend with actors like George Cloonney and I couldn't wait for the movie to finish. With your movie I got stock to the computer and couldn't get off.

Keep it up and I would have to pay to see your movies. ;-)

Marlon, I noticed Scene 4 is 1.85:1 and scene 6 is 2.35:1. Is the finished film going to be matted to a Cinemascope aspect ratio?

Yes, I haven't matted scene 4 yet. I love the 2:35 aspect ratio... makes it look more professional.

I don't understand how you save the movie at such a small file size... could someone tell me how this is done? I just can't work it out for the life of me...

If i save a movie, on PP2.0 it either turns out at the same size as the raw footage video or much higher... E.g I have a 3 minute vid, and when I save it as a Microsoft DV AVI it ends up being almost 1 gig!!! Ehy!!?? and When I do a " AVI I can get it down to say 300 meg but that still isnt right.

I'd be so grateful if someone could enlighten me...

Regards,

Giles B
