I'm having an issue with AC3 downconverting. My AC3 mix sounds great on my setup, but others without DD 5.1 are hearing some dropouts in the sound. Can someone point me in the right direction on getting a good downconverting template setup?

Have you tried using the little stereo donwconversion button on top of the mix window just to check it? I've had pretty good luck with 5.1 downconverted to stereo from DVD players & computers.

I'm assuming your bitrates are o.k.? What kind of device are they playing back in?

They're playing it back in a standard, non 5.1, DVD player connected using RCA adapters to a standard TV.

I'm pretty sure the bitrate is ok, but I'll check. What should it be set at?
