Hello, I am having a hard time finding a female mini-XLR to female XLR adapter. Is there such a cable? Where can I find one?

My idea is to connect a standard mic to my wireless system. The wireless system is for use with a lapel mic, but if I had this cable I could use other mics.

Is this a sound idea?

Richard, I use these guys for all my audio supplies. They are in London, but if you wade through their pages, get somewhere close to what you want at least you can then have information available to point others to?

Page 55 of the Markertek catalog. A 6 ft mini-XLR to female-XLR cable is catalog # XLF-TA3F-6 ($21.99). A 25 ft cable is # XLF-TA3F-25 ($37.99).

Jeff, actually bought something like that and it was the wrong one. I don't need mini to XLR. I need "mini-XLR" to full size XLR. Both ends need to be female.

I'll checkout those other places to see if it is possible.

These would be too long to be convenient, but many boundary layer mics from Crown and AT use a mini-XLR to male XLR. You could then add a female to female XLR gender changer, they're cheap and handy to have anyway. You could then at least test it and see if it actually works with your wireless input if you have access to a boundary layer mic.
