Hi all,

I am planning to film a documentary in Israel this summer, and I am in the process of purchasing audio equipment. I am considering getting the Sennheiser Evolution G2, or something equivalent from sony or audio technica.

Now, on the Sennheiser website for finding frequencies to use in Israel, it does not list any available wireless frequencies for users from abroad:

http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/icm.nsf/root/products_sennheiser_wireless-systems_frequency-check_israel

I was wondering if anyone knew what frequencies I could use? I need to know so I can buy the correct frequency range on my wireless system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You might try PM'ing Oleg Kaiserman, who frequently has gear for sale over in the Private Classifieds forum.

frequently :-)

everything between 500-720 usually works with small exceptions here and there
if you buying multi channels you will not have problem to find clear channels

dont come with UK units - it sucks as the 32-33 TV occupied by cellphone companies
By the way if you buy SENS OR SONY invest in better capsules , the one which ome with the tx suck big time

Thanks for your response Oleg.

So is it legal to use the frequencies you listed? I will be buying a multi channel system from Sennheiser (from the USA), so it will have a wide frequency range. I just didn't want to run into alot of interference, or have the police show up because I was using illegal frequencies. I will be buying a kit that comes with a lavalier mic - are you saying to get upgrade?
