Greetings

When/who will deliver a 720p 60 fps camcorder (HVX excluded ;).

I've seen the Samsung press release but there's no mention of 60 fps:
http://www.ambarella.com/news/press_releases/pr_01082007b.htm

The Sanyo HD2 appears to have dropped 60 fps support. :(

Are there any other 07 candidates?

Much Thanks

Thanks............. aware of those units. Way too big and too many $$$$ for this application.

I'm looking for a smaller 'handycam' type device. :-). I realize there is no such camcorder available but I'm hoping someone knows of an upcoming release in 07.

Thanks for the prompt response.

1080i has 60 fields that can be easily converted to 60 frames and then resized to 1280x720 if 720p60 is what you seek...

That's not what I'm looking for. The HVX-200 (with real 60p) is closest to what I'm looking for.

Perhaps that just announced Sony sensor (IMX017CQE) will show up sometime this year in a new (and smaller) camcorder. ??? My time frame is mid/late summer so maybe something will show up (or be announced) by then.

Please post those rumors. :-)
