I have the sony HC1 with sony's wide and tele lens, and i would like to upgrade to canon HV20. Can I use this lens to HV20 or i need an adaptor

The HC1 has a 37mm filter thread and the HV20 has a 43mm filter thread. Using an adapter will VERY likely generate vingetting in the captured video.
