I picked up an FX1 to shoot an interview in two hours. I can't seem to get any audio through my headphones. The manual is woefully inadequate.

I'm running a shotgun and lav through a beachtek, and the levels seem to indicate audio comming in... just can't hear it. What am I missing?

Found the problem. Volume control for the headphones is located on the "PLAYBACK" pad under the LCD screen.

For the love of God... give me 'knobs' over menus and buttons any day... sigh.

What shotgun mic & wireless are you using thru your beachtek?
