Hi,
If it doesn't rain tomorrow I have a shoot in Daytona at the race track for a client that has special car care products. They are specialty products used on Ferrari's and expensive motorhomes.
I'll be taping outside with one JVC HD100U. The purpose of the video is to shoot footage that can be used for a dvd showing the proper way to use the products and then buyers receive a copy with their purchase.
I know I'll need to shoot alot of footage and using one camera might be a little tight too but I think it can be done.
I've been shooting video format of HDV30p. On my other videos, since my editing does not yet support HD, I've been running the footage into my computer using the basic outputs and editing has come out ok. I plan to upgrade soon and then I'll be able to edit in HD.
Anyway, I'd like to hear any comments or tips anyone has for me regarding camera settings , etc. I'm not one that has gotton totally familiar with the menus, video formats settings...I usually set it and leave it alone, shoot the footage I need and things come out ok. I'm working on learning more about the camera but would love to hear some feedback on shooting HDV with this camera, the proper menu settings for shooting HD....
This forum has been so helpful to me and I really appreciate it.
BTW, we'll be moving around to a few locations where the motorhomes are set-up so we'll be having to use a generator sometimes for power because I don't yet have my pattery packs in here. Is it an ok thing to do?
Thank you,
Lisa
