I just noticed that the camera that dwight is holding in the episode "ben franklin" is an HV-10, I wonder if the "footage" shown from it is actually from the camera. Not really exciting, just needed to dork out for a minute.

Nick, I noticed that as well. I also noticed the footage "shown from it" looked pretty god-awful. Looked too macro blocky to me to be a 1920x1080 image. In the camera's defense, I think it was doctored to further separate the look from Camera A in that scene. I've done this sort of thing before, shooting with a 2001 Canon ZR20 and intercutting with HD footage to illustrate "an earlier time", rather than shooting it all with the HD camera.

I was wondering about that camera! Very cool... got to love The Office! :)

I wish I could see more indoor footage from the HV10 though. Yes, I've searched the forum. Not much to look at... some good stuff, mostly outdoors.

I noticed that too. They used some effects to make it look like a home movie but it would be pretty neat if the source footage was actually shot on the HV10.

I wondered, is that Michael's camera or Dwight's. I would assume it's Michael's since he's always making videos. Why would he get that camera? Probably some big box store employee telling him he had to have HD, it was the best. He also edits them on his Mac, so I wonder which Mac he has. They've never shown it in his Condo. I would guess it is an iMac, though if it was an iMac he probably would have said iMac and not just Mac.
