Anybody know where the serial number is on late model Fujinon lenses? I've found a number on the box it came in and there is a number on the lower right of the manual booklet cover, but I'd like to see a number on the lens itself.

I bet somebody knows, it seems it might involve unscrewing a panel or something which I don't want to do unless necessary.

Yeah, I looked at my 18X and can't find it on the outside either.


Update: I called my local service center. Look for the 6 digit number at the front of the lens in green lettering. I have it on mine.
