Will this work? Anyone have issues with Western Digital HD's in Mac Pros?

Although I've only had my Mac Pro for a month, I have three of these drives, two raided together and one standalone and they work great.

Haven't had any issues with mine. We've also got a Dell RAID 5 box at work using 4 x WD SATA II drives and never had a problem. They are a LOT cheaper than Ultra320 drives, but then the U320's usually come with a 5 year warranty...

Just one thing - I would never trust software RAID, even on a Mac. Maybe if you're using it for scratch space, but not for storing any project I'd put more than a couple of days work into. Call it paranoia, but I've cleaned up after a couple of failed arrays, and it's a hell of a lot easier to rebuild when it's hardware.
