I cant find any review of Microdolly in this forum. From what i've read on Microdolly's website (www.microdolly.com), it says that the dolly is very light, though it looks not very sturdy and not reliable. So anyone has tried it before? Thanks!

It isnt really a review just see it in actioin. I saw it used in a Digital Juice Vidcast episode.

From the video it looks a little flimsy but if it is taken care of should work. I would just be worried about people stepping on it kind of thing.

I've used Microdolly many times and it's rock solid and incredibly well-made. Everything collapses into a small portable bag.
It's very expensive, but it's built to last and can handle any payload.

Define "very expensive", please? Like, how much is the basic kit as listed on their website.

I think basic dolly w/one piece of track is around $2500.

I have owned and used/abused one for over six years and love it. Very quick to set up & pull down. Packs down to a small and light weight package that I can take with me anywhere.

Like all of these style of dollies it's best to think of them as a 'wide angle dolly' - trying to do a tight follow and a pull focus is a bit hit & miss and best left to a ride on dolly. You also need a fairly flat surface to dolly on but great for adding a bit of movement to an otherwise dull shot.

Yep it is pricey. I've just received pricelist from Microdolly, the basic kits costs about 2500 USD.
