I have finally come up with the means to purchas some new gear and I was looking to buy the FX7 as my main camera. But, I also would like to purchase a 2nd camera for an additional angle at weddings. I was using Sony's HD consumer Handycam HC3 and I really like Sony, but I don't have much experience with Canon. Would you recommend a 2nd FX7 or something else? Fx1? Canon?
I am open to suggestions/recommendations, but I would like to do this soon. I have a wedding in March and need some time to play with my new equipt.
Thanks!

I can actually get a better "package" deal on the FX1 from B&H, so price wise, do you think thats my best bet? The Fx1 does better in low light, from everything I have heard, and the price may have just changed my mind. Suggestions?

I don't have the 7, but I do have the FX1. I also have the VX2000, which, with the VX2100 and PD150 and PD 170, are the low light best cameras in the prosumer level. The FX1, in manual and a little practice can be nursed through similar low light situations, though it is a bit slower... FX1 handles gain well.
It is my understanding the FX7, drops off a little more. I would say FX1, since 7 doesn't offer much else new, would be the right way to go. Now if you are talking about V1u, thats a bit different decision.... because of progressive capabilities too.
