I have an XBox 360 that I use to watch HD-DVD videos. I bought Pinnacle Studion 10.7+ with HD Authoring Pack to produce and burn HD-DVDs. So far, Studio 10.7 has failed to capture, produce and burn even one HD-DVD disk that will play on the XBox. It is not a DVD drive/burner incompatibility issue, as I do successfully make HD-DVDs that will play on my XBox when I capture and produce with Premiere Pro, use Movie Factory 5 to convert to HVDVD_TS files, and then burn using Studio 10.7.

So, the problem is narrowed down to production in Studio. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions? Is anyone successfully using Pinnacle Studio 10.7 to make HD-DVDs that will play on an XBox 360 HD-DVD player?

Max, are you getting a menu or does it not even recognize it? It sounds like with your alternate workflow you are getting Studio to create the discs. The problem sounds like an issue with the WMV encoder settings in Studio. Is that right?
